Blue Chip Global Development (BCGD) signs Memorandum of Agreement with Koperasi Bumiputera Bersatu Berhad (KBBB) to design, build, and operate the new Brunei International Airport and Temburong Mahkota Smart City, which will be used as the center of the Overseas Islamic Conference (OIC) when held in Brunei Darussalam.
KBBB was founded by His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah’s Government with the aim of:
Enhancing the social and economic welfare of its members and the community.
Foster great cooperation between the different layers of the Brunei community.
Improve the cooperative movement by working with local, regional, national, and international entities.
KBBB helps promote Brunei’s socio-economic development to improve quality of life, generate employment opportunities, and help develop a sustainable economy.
On June 18, 2014, with Letter Reference No: BINA/KOP/201/2006 - BUMIPUTERA, KBBB was appointed by His Majesty’s Government, through the Finance Department (Brunei Industrial Development Authority – BIDA), for Brunei Vision 2035 projects as the primary developer to strategically source, organize, and manage projects and infrastructures. His Majesty’s Government empowered KBBB with the authority to identify and propose projects that will enhance and complement the objectives of Brunei Vision 2035.

KBBB is now working hard with BCGD and other globally acknowledged foreign experts in urban design, planners, contractors, and developers to implement King’s Vision 2035.
